How to Play
Select "vs Computer" on the Draughts page and choose your difficulty. You control one set of pieces and the AI controls the other. Click a piece to select it, then click a highlighted square to move. When captures are available, they are mandatory and highlighted. The maximum capture rule is enforced automatically — the game will only allow the sequence that captures the most pieces. The AI responds instantly after your move. Use the undo button to take back moves and explore different strategies.
Strategy Tips
- 1Start with Easy to learn the 10×10 rules, especially the maximum capture rule which may be new if you come from American Checkers.
- 2Focus on understanding flying kings — they are the most powerful pieces and fundamentally different from American Checkers kings.
- 3At Medium difficulty, start working on controlling long diagonals with your pieces and kings.
- 4At Hard difficulty, look for multi-jump combinations before every move. The AI will find them, so you need to see them first.
- 5Use the undo feature extensively to learn from the AI's tactical responses.
